People often ask me why our puppies are so
expensive, (My prices are decent compared to
other breeders that charge thousands for
small, quality poms). If you are looking for an
inexpensive dog, please look at your local
shelter. There are tons of pure bred dogs in
need of homes. There are substantial costs
involved in raising happy, healthy, lovable
little bundles of fur. Our dogs are bred to
produce quality Pomeranians, not inexpensive dogs.
Great breeding stock is an investment.
We have paid a lot of money for our Mom and
Dad Poms, sometimes thousands of dollars.
We look for certain features and qualitys in our
Poms. We pay so much because any good breeder
will not breed a seriously flawed dog. They
come from great lines like Millamor, Jolly Wee,
Great Elms, Lake Matthews, Bonners, Sunray's,
Cedarwood, Timsue, Chrisendo, Emcee's & Finch
just to mention a few. It takes a lot of time, a lot
of patience, a lot of studying pedigrees, and most
of all a lot of love and attention, and sometimes
a little heart ache. What we have planned is not
always the outcome.

We look for a high quality that meets the
breed standard, and all of our dogs are
AKC registered. Furthermore, we have a
wonderful veterinarian who is a great friend,
all of our dogs and puppies get routine vet
care including frontline to ward off flees and
ticks, vaccines, vitamins, heartguard, and
they also get wormed. Veterinary care
is not cheap, even though our vet is reasonably
priced, it is still an expense. Dogs need grooming,
dental care, and cleaning. When you add all
that up, you are spending more than what
you are asking for on a pups price. We do
this as a hobby, we have regular full time
jobs and making money is not the object.
Without having litters of dogs yourself, you
will never know how much work they are.
We love what we do. Although we have
fun and enjoy watching them grow, it is still
WORK! The dogs always come First.
The whole family helps out. In the morning
we are putting our dogs out to play and
picking up dog waste, feeding, and making
sure everyone is happy. We give special care
and attention to our expecting mothers.
We spend at least an hour EVERY morning
cleaning-up after our dogs and cats spending
time to ensure they are getting proper exercise
and giving our love of course. This care
continues throughout the day. After the kids
get home, they clean-up after them again and
start washing towels and changing beds until
bedtime. Then we have our weekly care of
bathing, brushing, cleaning little hind ends,
checking & cleaning ears, brushing teeth
(yes they get their teeth brushed just as we do)
trimming hair and nails, and wiping eyes.
It is our regular routine just like waking-up
is to everyone else. Why do we do it you ask?
It's simple if you own a dog, look into it's eyes,
he or she loves you unconditionally, they are
by your side if you are in a bad or good
mood, and they are there to please you. heir little
tales wagging and tongues hanging out, and kitty
paws making muffins on your shirt, kneading
and purring, that's all the love we could ever
want and ask for. God has blessed us with the
opportunity to share this with other people, to
enrich their lives, and make them whole.
